Description:

The Gateway Services will provide the primary means of electronic communications and firewall protection between the Department and external organisations, including the public.

Apart from Internet browsing and email services the Department servers and equipment attached to the gateway will be used to provide: -
* Numerous websites; and
* Remote access facilities into the Department`s network.

As such it is imperative that any prospective tenderer put forward a solution that has the ability to meet or exceed the Department`s requirements in an efficient, flexible and proactive manner.

Conditions for Participation:

Tenderers must be Certified (including "Provisional" certification as defined by ASCI 33) under the Department of Defence`s certification Program for the supply of Secure Gateway services to the Commonwealth.

Timeframe for Delivery:

Commencing 1st July 2007 to 30th June 2009 with an option of a 1 year extension.
