The Commission builds the capability of the APS by providing a wide range of leadership, learning and development activities and services for all levels of the APS, including senior executives.  Many of the development opportunities involve the delivery of programmes at the Woden Training Centre.  Other Agencies and the private sector may also hire the facilities at the Woden Training Centre.  The Woden Training Centre is a purpose built training centre for the Commission.  The training centre consists of five separate training rooms with a full complement of audio visual aids.  The five rooms range in capacity, with the three larger rooms holding a maximum of 45 people in a theatre style. The remaining two rooms hold a maximum of 25 people in a theatre style.  The five rooms are adjacent to a large pre-function area that allows for the serving of refreshments and doubles as a reception venue for larger events.  The five rooms within the training centre also have the capability to be linked together through the removal of adjacent walls.  This then creates an open floor area with the ability to hold a maximum of 150 people in theatre style
