Employee Assistance Program

This Request for Tender (RFT) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced national organisation to provide independent assessment, counselling/intervention, and referral services, through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The program will be for all employees of the Department of Health (the department) and their immediate family members, across the organisation on a national level, including certain portfolio agencies and client groups.
The Department is seeking Tenders for the following Services:
• Counselling services for employees and their immediate family members;
• Critical incident debriefing services;
• Services in support of managers/team leaders;
• Expertise for conferences/seminars/training sessions;
• Facilities; and
• Other miscellaneous services.
The Department’s standard requirements, refer to clause 11.
The Conditions for Participation in addition to the Department’s standard requirements are:
• The Tenderer must offer to provide all the Services described in this RFT; and
• The Tenderer must be able to provide the required services in all State/Territory Capital Cities. For State/Territory outposts, telephone counselling and services (as far as practicable) will be available at a minimum, with arrangements available where face-to-face services are required.
1 July 2015 until 30 June 2017 (with option for extension until 30 June 2020).
