Provision of Psychological Support Services
The Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) and the Defence Imagery and Geospatial Organisation (DIGO) require psychologists on a contract basis to provide professional psychological services. The services are to support the business objectives of both Agencies.
To provide the services potential suppliers must:
a. Hold a post-graduate qualification in Psychology such as a Masters Degree or PhD, with a major in either: clinical, organisational or forensic studies.
b. Be an Unconditionally Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Provider Registration Authority;
c. Be eligible for full Australian Psychology Society Membership; and
d. A minimum of three years professional practical experience with the inclusion of psychological assessment experience.
Engaged suppliers will be required to undergo a Psychological Assessment (PA) to establish suitability for employment in a high security environment. Australian citizenship is essential and engaged suppliers must be able to account for their personal background for the past 10 years, and that background must be checkable.
