Courier and Mail Room Services
Centrelink is seeking the services of suitable organisations to provide a range of courier and mail room services in all States and Territories. The Services encompass the transport and delivery of mail items on each business day, sometimes weekends and public holidays and require same day overnight and next day delivery.
Timely and secure Services are essential for Centrelink's Business operatons in providing support and services for its clients and customers and other Agencies.
Tenderers may bid to provide the Services on a National basis (encompassing all States and all Territories), an individual State or Territory basis or a combination of some States and/or Territories.
Tenderers may bid for the provision of courier and mail room services or courier services only.
Note: Centrelink will not accept bids for mail room services only.
- It is Mandatory that the Tenderer affirms that other Agencies have access to the proposed contractual arrangements.
- It is Mandatory that Tenderers indicate their ability to comply with the requirement to provide personnel who currently have, or can obtain at the Tenderer's cost, the necessary police checks or security clearances (or both) as a prerequisite to commencing or continuing work, depending on the nature and classification fo the work to be performed, as required by the Protective Security Manual.
- It is Mandatory that Tenderers indicate the Service Option and the locations for which they are tendering.
