Engagement of Commercialisation Advisers for Accelerating Commercialisation

This Request for tender (RFT) is seeking applications from organisations and single person companies interested in being engaged under contract to provide Commercialisation Adviser or Business Development – Commercialisation Adviser services for the Entrepreneurs’ Infrastructure Programme – Accelerating Commercialisation Element (the Programme), administered by the Department of Industry and Science.
Successful tenderers for the Commercialisation Adviser role will be required to deliver services on a state or territory basis, including regional areas of those states or territories. Successful tenderers for the Business Development – Commercialisation Adviser role will be required to deliver services nationally. Advisers will be expected to have extensive networks and experience in commercialisation.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The tenderer must either be incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 or be prepared to become a body corporate under the Corporations Act 2001 prior to being engaged as an Adviser
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is an initial twelve months with the possibility of up to 3 x 12 month extension options at the Department of Industry and Science’s absolute discretion.
