Provision of Operations and Maintenance Services of Scrivener Dam

The scope of services include routine operator inspections; routine operation and maintenance; flood planning, flood forecasting and flood operations; maintenance of data on asset management system; document review and updating; reporting and meeting attendance; planned works; and unplanned minor works including emergency and non-emergency works
A compulsory site visit to Scrivener Dam is scheduled for 2pm on Thursday 2 April, where tenderers will be provided a closer look at the dam and added documentation required to prepare their tender.
This contract is for 5 years with a possible extention of an additional 3 years.
The NCA will exclude a tender from further consideration if the NCA considers that the tenderer does not exist as a legal entity at the closing time of the tender or representative from the Tenderer does not attend the compulsory site visit. It is also a condition for participation in this Tender that the Tenderer is not precluded from tenderering for Commonwealth funded building and construction work. The NCA will not enter into a contract with a Tenderer who has an adverse court or tribunal decision (not including decisions under appeal) for a breach of workplace relations law, work health and safety law or workers's compensation law and the Tenderer has not fully complied, or is not fully complying, with the order.
A Transition In Period is expected to commence on 1 June 2015. The commencement of services will commence on the 27 July 2015. The term of the contract is for 5 years. A possible extention of services for an additional 3 years will be considered by the NCA.
