Defence Courier Services
This RFT seeks responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the Defence Courier Services comprising:
• General Scheduled and Ad-hoc Courier Services for non classified material within Australia and overseas; • Overnight Endorsed Courier Services for material classified to SECRET within Australia; and
• Safe Hand Courier Services for material classified TOP SECRET within Australia
The courier that delivers the Safe Hand and Overnight Endorsed Courier Services must be suitably endorsed by the Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) for the carriage of such consignments.
An Industry Briefing will be held on Monday 16th February 2015 at Campbell Park Offices ACT
The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if:
a. the tenderer does not demonstrate its acceptance of the position that upon receipt and approval by the Commonwealth any Claims for payment (invoices) will be paid to the Contractor within 30 days; or
b. the Commonwealth considers that the tenderer has not demonstrated that, at the time of contract commencement, it would meet the SCEC Endorsement related Essential Requirements detailed in the SOW, namely:
(i) the prime Contractor, (or its Sub-contractor/s) delivering Safe Hand Services holds endorsement as a Safe Hand Courier Services provider issued by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation’s Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC); or
(ii) the Contractor, (or its Sub-contractor/s) delivering Overnight Endorsed Courier Services, holds endorsement as an Overnight Courier Services provider issued by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation’s Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC)
The anticipated commencement date for the services is July 2015
