Description:

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is undertaking a competitive tender process to purchase employment services for 2009-12.

The Minister for Employment Participation, the Hon Brendan O’Connor MP, has released the RFT for Employment Services 2009-12. The RFT is the result of extensive consultation with job seekers, employers and employment service providers on the new employment services. The tendered services will be easier and more effective for employment service providers to deliver and are designed to produce better results for employers and job seekers, particularly those who are disadvantaged.

The services purchased will commence on 1 July 2009.
