This Invitation to Register Interest marks the first phase of a two phase selection process to establish the Defence Infrastructure Panel 2009 (DIP) under a deed of standing offer. The DIP is intended to provide the Department of Defence (Defence) with access to infrastructure and associated services of a consistently high professional standard to meet Defence's estate planning, development and management requirements across Australia. Defence invites registrations of interest for the following key services:
  1. Project Management / Contract Administration;
  2. Estate Strategic Planning;
  3. Strategic Procurement Options Analysis;
  4. Value Management;
  5. Development of Strategic Business Case and Detailed Business Case;
  6. Site investigation;
  7. Electronic Recording of Project Information;
  8. Electronic Transmission of Project Information;
  9. Airfield;
  10. Socio Economic;
  11. Town Planning;
  12. Acoustic;
  13. Asbestos;
  14. Fuel Farm Works and Appraisal;
  15. Spatial Information Surveys;
  16. Fire Safety Surveys;
  17. Facilities Maintenance Investigation;
  18. High Voltage;
  19. Probity Advice.

In accordance with clause 3.1 (a) (ii) of the ATM documents, where the Applicant wishes to submit a Registration of Interest in respect of Project Management and Contract Administration Services (as described in clause 1.3(c)-(e), Airfield, Asbestos Services, Fuel Farm Works Planning and Appraisal Services or High Voltage Services, the Applicant must be compliant with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, reissued June 2006, at the time of submitting its Registration of Interest.

Expected DIP commencement from June 2009 for a period of 4 years, with options to extend for a further 3 additional periods of up to 12 months each.
