Manufacture and Supply of Carpet

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) requires a Service Provider to manufacture and supply carpet to Parliament House.
Carpeted areas of Parliament House include general circulation areas, office areas (including senators, members and ministerial suites) senate and house of representative chambers, galleries, committee rooms, dining areas and public circulation areas.
There is approximately 82,000 m2 of carpeted floors in Parliament House. Additionally there is approximately 3,000 m2 of carpet tiles used throughout the building.
The carpet replacement program endeavours to replace approximately 10% of the carpeted floors each year. this program is based on the results of an inspection schedule undertaken by DPS.
