Bindoon Training Facility – Scale A Water Supply Upgrade.
Upgrade to Bindoon Training Facility’s Scale A Water supply.
The project entails upgrading the existing water supply scheme for the Bindoon Training Facility’s Scale A Area (which includes accommodation, administration and workshop buildings), to enhance both the system’s functionality, and its capacity to meet supply demands. The works will include simplification of the existing raw water facilities, increasing the quantity of harvested rainwater, and improving the water treatment. The scope also includes developing and documenting maintenance requirements, which will ultimately improve quality of maintenance while reducing its associated costs.
The Tender Documents (including Contract) are attached on AusTender (under ‘Go to ATM documents’).
The scope of works and associated documents have not been attached. To obtain the full scope of works documentation, tenderers are to submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement as follows:
1. Click on “Go to ATM Documents”.
2. Download the Tender Documents.
3. Go to the Confidentiality Agreement
4. Print and sign the Confidentiality Agreement.
5. Return the signed copy by email, as a scanned PDF file, to the Contact Officer/PDS Contractor noted below.
Tenderers are to note that without the Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor, the complete Scope of Works cannot be released.
Any questions relating to this tender are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor nominated below.
The cut-off date for questions pertaining to this tender is seven (7) days before the tender close date.
The PDS Contractor will conduct an industry briefing in relation to the Works. The details of the industry briefing are as follows:
a) Venue: Bindoon Military Area (Scale A Area), WA
b) 30 November 2015 commencing 10:30am;
c) The Tenderer is to ensure he/she wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear, including:
- Safety Boots
- Hi-vis Vest
d) Details of attendees are to be emailed to: cw.pds@aurecongroup.com (The email should have the ATM ID in the subject title) no later than 2:00pm 25 November 2015. Applications for attendance after this time may not be accepted by the Base.
e) Note that all attendees must possess either a current Defence access pass, or a current Australian drivers licence or passport to gain access to the Base.
The maximum number of your personnel permitted to attend the industry briefing is 2.
The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as specified in the Tender Documents including:
- The Tenderer must complete and return the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement.
- The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting it’s tender.
- The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process.
