Old Parliament House, the National Portrait Gallery and the High Court of Australia (the Agencies) are seeking suitably qualified and experienced provider/s committed to provide high quality technical and customer service to perform building maintenance and repair services on the building engineering services located at their sites in Canberra.

The Services for each of the Agencies are separated into two separate trade (2) packages, Mechanical Services Trade Package and Electrical Services Trade Package, with the infrastructure for each site within the respective Trade Packages as detailed in the statement of requirements.

Each of the Agencies proposes to enter into separate Contracts with the successful tenderer/s.

:
  1. It is mandatory that tenderers attend the industry briefing and the relevant site inspection/s.  Information in relation to the industry briefing and site inspection/s, including registering your intention to attend, is detailed in the RFT documentation.
  2. Tenderers should note that the Agencies are seeking to maximise a value for money outcome and as such:

• will accept tenders offering to provide the Services to any combination (i.e. one, two or all) of the Agencies.

• preference is for tenders that offer to provide both Service Packages to the Agency, however tenders for either or both of the Services Packages will be accepted.

• will not accept tenders for part(s) of the services within each Services Package.

:
  1. The tenderer is a legal entity in existence at the Tender Closing Time.
  2. The tenderer has attended the Mandatory Industry Briefing and the relevant Site Inspection or Site Inspections.

  4. The tenderer or any subcontractor proposed in the tender is not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
  5. At the time of lodgement of the tender, the tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Commonwealth funded building and construction work.
  6. The Agencies will not enter into a contract with a tenderer who has had an adverse court or tribunal decision (not including decisions under appeal) for a breach of workplace relations law, work health and safety law or workers' compensation law and the tenderer has not fully complied, or is not fully complying, with the order.

:

The Contract(s) will be for an initial period of 4 years with the ability to extend the term for 4 further periods of 1 year each at the sole discretion of the Agency.
