Procurement of legal services providers to assist in scoping, planning and conducting numerous investigations into major financial institutions. In the event that those investigations detect contraventions of the law, legal advice on enforcement options available to ASIC. In the event that ASIC elects to take civil or civil penalty action against any entity, acting as ASIC's solicitors in the conduct of those proceedings and any appeals.
Potential Suppliers must provide personnel to carry out the Requirement who are qualified legal practitioners and who hold a current certificate permitting them to provide legal services described in the Requirement without further authorisation or approval required from any external entity.
18 months from February 2019 with the option to extend for a 18 months period.
