Stony Head Training Area - General Works
Road Remediation Works, Bush Fire Management Works, Firing Range Remediation works and Plumbing Works.
Works at Stony Head Training Area include (but are not limited to):
• Regrade the existing gravel road, reshape and regrade the existing open drainage channels, clean out existing culvert crossings; and weed, grass and vegetation control (9Km approximate);
• Excavation and the mechanical separation of stop butt at the Stony Head Firing Range, disposal of Class 3 contaminated soil and replacement with a clean fill and reinstate turf surface; and
• Fire Management Plan implementation works which involves slashing/ploughing of weed/vegetation each side of fire trails for a distance of approximately 60km. Maintenance of fuel break areas for an approximate distance of 26km.

The complete set of documents have not been attached. To obtain the full set of documentation, tenderers are to submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement as follows:

2. Download the Tender Documents.
3. Go to the Confidentiality Agreement
4. Print and sign the Confidentiality Agreement.
5. Return the signed copy by email, as a scanned PDF file, to the Contact Officer/PDS Contractor noted below.
Tenderers are to note that without the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer/ PDS Contractor, the complete set of documents cannot be released.
Any questions relating to this tender are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor nominated below. The email to the PDS Contractor must have the ATM ID in the subject title.
The cut-off date for questions pertaining to this tender is seven (7) days before the tender close date.
Industry briefing will be held:
• Monday 28 September 2015, commencing 9:30am
• at 722 Beechford Road, Stony Head, Tas
• Tenderers should allow 7 hours for the industry briefing.
• Details of attendees are to be emailed to: PDSVicTas@aurecongroup.com no later than 4pm AEST Thursday 24 September 2015. Applications for attendance after this time may not be accepted by the Base.
• One vehicle per company is permitted on site and the maximum number of your personnel permitted to attend the industry briefing is 2.
• Tenderers are to arrive 10 minutes prior to the briefing for site induction, wear appropriate foot wear, bring food, water and weather protection.
• Note that all attendees must possess either a current Defence access pass, or a current Australian drivers licence or passport to gain access to the Base.
• Tenderers are to make themselves familiar with the Design Documents prior the Industry Brief as no further site visit will be permitted.
The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as follows:
• The Tenderer must complete and return the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement
• The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting its tender.
• The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process
• Each additional condition for participation stated in the Tender Particulars (if any).
