Property Portfolio Management Services
DAFF is re-engineering the way it undertakes property management across its national property portfolio. The department’s property portfolio includes office accommodation (owned and leased) used for general administrative activities and customer/client service functions and specialised operational accommodation such as Quarantine Approved Premises, meat establishments, data centres and residences located in remote areas. The portfolio is dispersed across Australia (mainland and islands). The scientific nature of some of the department’s work also means that specialised property fit out and management is required at some sites. The Department through this RFT is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to undertake the role of an independent property advisor for the organisation.
Subject to the correction of unintentional errors of form, the Department will exclude a Tender from further consideration if it considers that the Tender does not meet the following Conditions for Participation:
(a) the Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the Tender Closing Time and Date;
(b) at the time of lodgement of their Tender, Tenderers must not have been:
(i) precluded from Tendering for Australian Government funded work; or
(ii) subject to a judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements, not including decisions under appeal, and have not paid the claim; or
(c) The successful tenderer must agree not to tender for other Property Portfolio Management panels to be tendered by the Department.
