Standard Combat Uniform and Accessories
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
Standard Combat Uniforms (SCU) and Accessories are worn by Army, Air Force and Navy personnel. These uniforms are worn on military bases and operations in a variety of circumstances. The uniforms are printed with camouflage pattern prints in a variety of colours and designs. Maternity Uniforms, Disruptive Pattern Enemy Camouflage Uniforms, Fabric and Made to Measure garments may also be required.
Contractors may also be required to provide Design and Development Services relating to the SCU and Accessories. This may include services and garment design changes, fabric changes and print changes.

Industry Briefing. An Industry Briefing will be held at Defence Plaza Melbourne on Friday 17 February 2012. Tenderers wishing to attend will be required to register their interest by Monday 13 February 2012. Further information regarding the Industry Brief can be found in the Request for Tender documentation, at clause 2.8 of the Conditions of Tender.
Commercial-In-Confidence Specifications. Some specifications listed in the Request for Tender documentation have not been included. Please refer to the Covering Letter regarding access to this data.
At minimum, the Commonwealth requires tenderers to comply with:
- the Commonwealth's security requirements set out in the Request for Tender documentation; and
- any requirements identified as essential in the draft Statement of Work, including the Annexes.
Tenders must be lodged on or before 12:00 noon local time of the Tender Box Locations on Thursday 31 May 2012.
