Approach to Market:
This RFT is an open Request for Tender (RFT) to provide support services for the Digital Hydrographic Database (DHDB).
Purpose of the System:
The Digital Hydrographic Database (DHDB) system provides the Australian Hydrographic Service (AHS) with the capability to accept and manage digital data, and to compile and maintain a seamless, validated, non-conflicting, hydrographic database. Data in this seamless database is then used to generate and maintain a range of hydrographic products.
The DHDB system avoids the double handling of information and data, and enables the location, assessment and revision of data and products as new hydrographic material comes to hand.
Support Services include but are not limited to:
1. management of services;
2. provision of operating support services;
3. provision of engineering services;
4. provision of maintenance services;
5. provision and support of support resources; and
6. quality management.

This Request For Tender (RFT) is open to all potential suppliers and all tender responses will be evaluated in accordance with the Conditions of Tender (COT).
3 Year Contract, with two 2 year extension options as defined in the Conditions of Tender (COT).
