Fibre Optic Infrastructure Works and Services Panel

Finance invites suitably qualified contractors with the expertise and experience in the delivery of repair, maintenance and minor works on small to medium fibre optic infrastructure works and capital projects.
Finance is seeking to create a panel for a period of three (3) years. Each successful Tenderer will be required to execute a Deed of Standing Offer (DoSO). Finance may agree to extend the life of the panel by extending each DoSO for two (2) further periods of one (1) year each. Any such extension is in Finance’s discretion, and will be based on available funding and satisfactory performance by the contractor of its obligations under its DoSO and will be subject to written agreement between the parties.
Tenderers are invited to tender for one, two or all three of the services categories listed below:
1. Minor Works and Associated Services:

3. Civil Infrastructure, Minor Construction and Cabling Services.
GNSB will conduct an Industry Briefing at 10.00am on Thursday 4 December 2014 to provide Tenderers with an overview of the Panel arrangement and the opportunity to seek clarification on the RFT. We ask that all interested parties confirm their attendance by Monday 1 December 2014 to gnsb.tenders@finance.gov.au.

The following are Conditions for Participation in this RFT process:
The Tenderer complies with the Building Code 2013 (the Code), and the Supporting Guidelines for the Building Code 2013 (the Guidelines);
Tenderers must have the relevant licences, accreditations, registrations and/or qualifications relating to each category chosen within Attachment C:
Appendix C1 – Minor Works and Associated Services;
Appendix C2 – Fibre Optic Splicing and Testing Services;
Appendix C3 – Civil Infrastructure, Minor Construction and Cabling Services
Tenderers must satisfy the Essential Capability Requirements applicable to the particular category or categories of Services within Attachment C for which it is tendering; and
At the time of lodgement of the RFT, the Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government Funded work due to previous breaches of the Code and Guidelines.
