The Supply and Freight of Physical Security Fit Outs (Services and Equipment) for Australian Missions Overseas and DFAT State and Territory Offices.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to supply physical security services and equipment, and/or provide freight for such equipment to meet the security fit out requirements of Australian Missions overseas and DFAT State and Territory Offices in Australia.
An optional Industry Briefing will be held in the Treaties Room at the R G Casey Building, Barton, ACT, at 2.00pm on Tuesday 20 September 2011. Bookings are required by close of business on Friday, 16 September 2011, to email address: charmaine.gorter@dfat.gov.au
Tenderers must demonstrate compliance with the following Conditions for Participation:
(a) the Tenderer (and any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cwlth);
(b) the Tenderer (and any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under the Charter of United Nations (Terrorism and Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2008;
(c) the Tenderer (and any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be bankrupt or insolvent;
(d) the Tenderer (and any of its proposed subcontractors) must not have any judicial decision against it relating to employee entitlements (not including decisions under appeal), that has not been met in full by the Tenderer; and
(e) the Tenderer (and any of its proposed subcontractors) must comply with the relevant requirements of the Fair Work Principles.
Tenderers should complete Section 3 of Schedule 3 (Tender Response) and the Tenderer's Declaration for Compliance with the Fair Work Principles as set out at Section 7 of Schedule 3 (Tender Response) to demonstrate their compliance with the above Conditions for Participation.
