DOTARS is seeking tenders from organisations which have demonstrated experience and appropriate qualifications in any of the following areas: a) Design Services; b) Contract Administration Services; and c) Environmental and Infrastructure Services. When determining the composition of the panel, DOTARS will look at the range of services offered by Tenderers to ensure the Panel covers all the services likely to be required. This does not mean that each Tenderer must be capable of offering services across all three areas, but rather that the Panel as a whole must be capable of covering all areas. Tenderers will be appointed to the Panel in respect of the area for which they tendered. Design Services Tenderers should have demonstrated experience and appropriate qualifications in disciplines including engineering, design, and drafting. Services undertaken by successful Tenderers will include: advising on the planning, development and design of engineering projects, analysing design needs and options, and undertaking specific design works. Contract Administration Services Tenderers should have demonstrated experience and appropriate qualifications in contract administration (project management). Services undertaken by successful Tenderers will include: advising on the planning, development, and management of projects; preparing briefs, tender documentation and reports; and analysing engineering needs and options.
Environmental and Infrastructure Services Tenderers should have demonstrated experience and appropriate qualifications in disciplines including environmental science, marine science, geology, natural resource management, and environmental engineering. Services undertaken by successful Tenderers will include: advising on environmental and heritage issues associated with projects; assessing groundwater and surface water, air quality, fauna and flora, soil, and erosion; and preparing Environmental Management Programmes and Heritage Management Plans.
