DIAC wishes to engage a number of qualified and experienced Tenderers to form a Panel to provide one or both of the following two (2) service categories:

1. Internal Audit;

a.       internal auditing services.

2. Related Professional Services;

a.       risk management;

b.      business continuity management;

c.       fraud control management;

d.      quality assurance; and

e.       evaluation (performance audit).

Tenderers may tender for work in one or both of the service categories specified above. Tenderers must be able to demonstrate that they are able to provide all of the Services listed in a particular service category. For example, a Tenderer proposing to deliver Service Category Two: Related Professional Services must be able to deliver all of the services of which includes risk management, business continuity management, fraud control management, quality assurance and evaluation (performance audit).

DIAC anticipates that the Panel will consist of up to five (5) members. However, DIAC reserves the right to determine the final number of members in the Panel.

-         DIAC 2009-10 Internal Audit Program;

Submission on ‘Reform of Australian Government Administration – Building the world’s best public service’.

DIAC will exclude a tender from further consideration if DIAC considers that the Tenderer does not comply with the mandatory requirements as stated in PART C of the RFT documentation.

It is proposed that the contract will be for an initial term of two years, commencing on 1 July 2010 and ending on 30 June 2012, with an option to extend the contract for one year or part thereof, if required.

Responses must be lodged via the AusTender system. DIAC will not accept hardcopy, oral, faxed or email copies of Tenders.
