Provision of office fitout services, installation and purchase of office furniture and fitout products for the Department of the Treasury.
The proposed Deed of Agreement (Deed) under this RFT arises from the Treasury’s desire to outsource Services relating to office fitout, installation and purchase of office furniture and fitout products. The Services under the proposed Deed will include but not be limited to the following:
(a) workspace design to allow for future change and occupational health and safety requirements;
(b) project cost/budget estimations;
(c) supply and installation of demountable office furniture systems to include wall panels, glass partitions, doors, workstations, power blades and associated workstation accessories i.e. whiteboards, meeting tables, shelves, shelve dividers and all hard and soft wiring components to workstations (i.e. starter sockets and data terminal housing);
(d) office fitout construction, reconfiguration of office fitout (churn);
(e) design and construction of speciality joinery items on request (i.e. modifications to workstations/desks, and wall units); and
(f) ongoing availability of tradesmen to attend work requests at short notice during business hours and after hours.
Site Inspection
Tenderers are required to attend a Site Inspection of the Treasury Building to be held on Tuesday, 9 November 2010 commencing at 11 o’clock in the morning. Assembly point and time will be held on the same date fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the Site Inspection, at the A Block Security Guard Station, Treasury Building, Newlands Street, Parkes ACT.
The proposed Agreement under this RFT will be for a Term of three (3) years, with two (2) extension options of one (1) year each, exercisable solely by the Treasury, for a total possible Term of five (5) years.
(a) must not be named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth);
(b) must not have any unpaid claims in respect of judicial decisions (other than decisions subject to appeal) made against the Tenderer or its subcontractors relating to employee entitlements;
(c) must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work;
(d) must confirm compliance with the relevant requirements of the Fair Work Principles and complete the Statutory Declaration for compliance with these Principles at Tender Schedule J;
(e) must confirm compliance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry (Code) and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines, August 2009 (Guidelines) and complete the Declaration for compliance at Tender Schedule K; and
(f) must attend the Treasury building site inspection on Tuesday, 9 November 2010, please refer to clause 17 of Part II – Conditions of Tender.
