Simulated Training Services:

The scope of work involves provision of contracted services in order to support the design and execution of advanced exercises and specialised advanced training.

An ongoing requirement to prepare our Defence Personnel for deployments as well as maintaining the ongoing development of their doctrinal collective skills necessitates the need to delivery highly realistic advanced exercises and specialised advanced training.

The scope is for the provision of support to the design and execution of simulation and supplementary support to advanced exercises and specialised advanced training.

The overall scope of work consists of:
- the provision of manpower capability support;
- the provision of simulated environmental effects; and
- the provision of medical training support.

The scope shall include, but not limited to, design, plan, facilitate, execute, and review, in support of ADF training specialists, of all works as required to complete the entire scope.

The Tender Documents, Draft Deed, and associated documents are loaded on AusTender (under ‘Go to ATM documents’).

Any questions relating to this tender are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer below.  Tenderers are advised that questions may be submitted to the Contact Officer up until five business days prior to the tender closing time.

An industry briefing will be conducted in relation to this Request for Tender at the Date and Location listed below and in accordance with Clause 2.7 of the Conditions of Tender. Representatives of prospective tenderers at the briefings will be limited to three personnel. Nominations to attend the industry briefing must be forwarded by email to the Contact Officer specified below, by 2.00pm AEST (QLD), 27 January 2015. Tenderers must include full names and addresses of attendees that will be attending the industry brief.

As the industry briefing will be held on Defence Property, Photo identification (i.e. Drivers Licence or Passport) must also be taken to the industry briefing to aid in the identification of each individual attending. Attendees will be transported from the pass office to the briefing venue.

The details of the industry briefing are as follows, it is anticipated that the industry will conclude between 12.00 – 1.00pm AEST (QLD).

The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as follows:

• The  Commonwealths security requirements set out in Clause 2.6 of the Conditions of Tender: 

The tenderer must comply with the Commonwealth personnel security clearance processes as detailed in Part 2:20 of the DSM as amended from time to time, including obtaining the level of security clearance required by the Commonwealth and included in the Statement of Works at Attachment A, Appendices 1 to 3 (Tables containing Personnel Qualifications and Experience) of the draft Deed.

• The requirements identified as essential in Clause 3 of the Statement of Work.
