RAAF Base Pearce Corrosion Control Facility Remediation

Remediation of the Corrosion Control Facility (Building A0339) at RAAF Base Pearce, WA.
The Contractor will be responsible for the following:
• Demolition & strip-out of existing facility
• Construction of new component stripping room & component spray booth
• Mechanical services upgrades including new main spray booth door sets
• Electrical services upgrades to building
• Structural modifications & repairs to building
• Hydraulic & Fire services modifications to building & surrounds

The design documentation has not been attached. To obtain the complete design documentation (including drawings, specifications and information documents), Tenderers are to follow the following process:

3. Scroll through the Tender Documents to Appendix 1 – Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement
4. Print and sign the Agreement.
5. Return the signed copy to the Contact Officer/ Tender Administrator noted below via email, with the Agreement scanned to PDF file
Tenderers are to note that without the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer/Tender Administrator, the complete Design Documents are unable to be released.

TENDER INDUSTRY BRIEF
Venue: RAAF Base Pearce (main entry gates) Bullsbrook WA
Date: Friday 6th March 2015
Time: 09:15am – 12:15pm
Attendees must register their attendance with the Contact Officer/Tender Administrator no later than 3:00pm Friday 27th February 2015, with their full name, drivers licence number and residential address.
Maximum two (2) persons per tenderer
Collect at main gates for escort to base cinema for briefing then on to Building A0339 for an inspection of works.
Attendees are required to provide and wear full PPE during their inspection of the Corrosion Control Facility, including disposable (TYVEK) coveralls/over-boots/gloves/mask, safety glasses and safety shoes/boots.
The cut-off date for questions is five business days before the tender close date.
The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as follows:
- The Tenderer must complete and return the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement (Appendix 1 of Tender Documents).
- The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting its tender.
- The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process.
- Each additional condition for participation stated in the Tender Particulars (if any).
