Request for Expressions of Interest Disposal of Caribou aircraft
The Commonwealth has a requirement to dispose of six Caribou aircraft. A Request for Expressions of Interest will be issued shortly. The Commonwealth is seeking registrations for attendance by Australian Historical Organisations at Industry Days relating to the Caribou aircraft.
The Aircraft Industry Days will be held at 1000-1200 on 8 December 2015 at Oakey Army Aviation Centre QLD and at 1200-1400 on 9 December 2015 at Brisbane Airport.
Registrations for the Industry Day are are to be submitted to POC via email kosun.kwan@defence.gov.au by 1 December 2015, 5PM ACT local time.
Registrations for the Industry Day should include the name and location of the Australian Historical Organisation and the full names of no more than four representatives who will attend the Industry Day on behalf of the Australian Historical Organisation. Australian Historical Organisations that have not registered may be excluded from attending the Industry Day.
Confidential Information will be provided at the Industry Day. Interested Australian Historical Organisations will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement in a form provided by the Commonwealth before the Industry Day.
The Commonwealth will provide a copy of the non-disclosure agreement to Australian Historical Organisations who register for the Industry Day. Australian Historical Organisations that do not sign a non-disclosure agreement may be excluded from attending the Industry Day.
Participants must be an Australian Historical Organisation (AHO). AHOs are defined as a body corporate that is established under relevant State or Federal legislation, is registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission or Australian Taxation Office, has an Australian Business Number, an Australian Company Number or a Registered Association Number and is:
a. a community organisation such as a museum, or a historical society that is open to the general public;
b. an organisation which provides access to historical military displays and historical information to the Australian general public; or
c. an organisation committed to the preservation of Australian owned, but nationally significant collections of materials that are publicly accessible including artefacts, letters, diaries, maps, photographs, and audio visual material.
Registrations are to be submitted by 1 December 2015, 5PM ACT local time.
