The Australian Government announced on 13 October 2017 a wide ranging package of reforms to private health insurance. This includes an upgrade to the Commonwealth Ombudsman’s website Privatehealth.gov.au, the development of a minimum data set for consumers, and making private health insurance product data publicly available.

All respondents are urged to check the website periodically as all questions answered will be published under the above heading.
