REQUEST FOR TENDER

AusAID, the Australian Agency for International Development, manages the Australian Government’s official overseas aid program.  AusAID assists developing countries to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia’s national interest.  AusAID is looking for a contractor to undertake the following construction project in Australia.

Project:  Design and Construction of Office Fitout Alterations at AusAID House, 255 London Circuit, Canberra City ACT. 

This project requires a building contractor to project manage, design and construct fitout alterations comprising minor demolition and construction of partition walls, screens, workstations and associated furniture.

Selection will be on an open tender basis.  It is anticipated that project construction will commence during September 2008 and will take about four months.

Closing Date: Submissions must be received in full via AusTender no later than 2.00 pm (Canberra time) on 11 August 2008.  Project enquiries are to be directed to:

Lodging a Tender must be via AusTender Tenders must be lodged electronically via the Australian Government Tender System, AusTender, at https://tenders.gov.au before the Closing Time and in accordance with the tender lodgement procedures set out in Annexure C of this Part and on AusTender.
