The Department of Finance (Finance) is seeking to establish a Major Office Machines (MOMs) Panel for the provision of Network Printers, Multifunction Devices (MFDs), Scanners, Ancillary MOMs Products and Associated Services to the Australian Government throughout Australia and overseas.  The MOMs Panel will replace the existing Equipment and Support (E&S) Panel and Managed Print Services (MPS) Panel.  

For clarity, Finance is not seeking to establish a new managed print services arrangement.

An Industry Briefing will be held by Finance in relation to this RFT.  The Briefing will be held in Canberra on Wednesday 30 March 2016 (see RFT clause 4.3 for further details).

The Minimum Content and Format Requirements that apply to this RFT are:

(a) the Tender must be written in English and use Australian legal units of measurement;

(b) the Tenderer must include a duly signed statutory declaration substantially in the form of Attachment B3 – Tenderer's Declaration;

(c) Tenders must be lodged electronically via AusTender. Tenders must not be lodged by post, facsimile or email, or any other means other than in accordance with clause 8.3 of the RFT, unless requested by Finance;

(d) Tenders lodged in relation to Deliverables in the following Categories must tender for the minimum number of Product Classes specified below:

(i)for Category 1 - Network Printers, a minimum of four Product Classes;

(ii)for Category 2 - Multifunction Devices, a minimum of six Product Classes; and

(iii)for Category 3 - Scanners, a minimum of two Product Classes; and

(e) Tenderers must be able to deliver Deliverables to all Australian capital cities (whether itself or through other arrangements established by the Tenderer, such as through subcontractors).

The MOMs Panel will be established for an initial period of four years from the date the first Head Agreement is executed, with options for the Department of Finance to extend the MOMs Panel for two (2) further periods of 12 months each.
