Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Australian Government has developed an on-line community of practice website called Disability Ideas Informing Practice (DIIP) - containing relevant publications, research reports and useful links on best practice in assisting people with disability (Phase 1). Registered website users will be able to post and access information about best practice on a range of selected priorities and topics, particularly regarding supported employment for people with disability. Users will also be able to participate in a moderated monthly online chat room.
The Department is seeking tender responses for Phase 2 of the DIIP website. The successful contractor will provide initial website enhancements prior to the website launch, host the website, search for and provide fresh content, manage final content approval through FaHCSIA, moderate interactive features such as the chat room, user comments and user submitted content, facilitate user registration, update the website and provide technical maintenance and support as necessary. The timeframe for the start of the above services will be in April 2013 and will be in place for an initial two years.
The website must be hosted on an appropriate server to ensure access is available to all users and that W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 AA accessibility standards and website security requirements are met. The successful contractor must be experienced in ‘Drupal 7’ and have a good knowledge of relevant and current disability/supported employment issues.
Tenderers must, at the Tender Closing Time, meet the Conditions for Participation specified in Part A Section 2 (Conditions of Participation) of the RFT Documentation, in order for their Tenders to be considered
The period of the contract will be for a two year term with the Department having options (at its absolute discretion) to extend the initial term for further periods not exceeding 24 months in total.
