Provision of Operational Security Serices
The Museum is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to provide the operational security service at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
The operational security services will primarily comprise control room functions and security guard functions, and will include surveillance, patrolling, alarm monitoring, defect identification, essential services reporting, WHS reporting, function-based security, incident management, general safety supervision, access control management, lock up duties, hazard monitoring and public enquiry responses.
The operational security service will contribute to the protection of the Museum and its property, assets, national maritime collection, staff and visitors. The Services will be delivered on a twenty-four hour, seven day basis.
a) The Tenderer has demonstrated financial corporate stability for a minimum period of three years; b) The Tenderer possesses the required insurances, including a minimum of $10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, $10,000,000 Product Liability Insurance and Worker’s Compensation Insurance to the amount required by law;
c) The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the Closing Time.
