Small Business Representatives Multi-Use List

Current or former Small Business operators with at least 2 years experience operating a small business are invited to apply for inclusion as a small business representative on the Small Business Representatives Multi Use List.
A 'small' business is defined as one with uo to $20 million annual turnover.
Small business representatives will provide the small business person's view on Tax Office and other government agency business processes in various consultation activities.
The multi-use list is being established as a central listing for use by the ATO to manage small business experts, and to better facilitate engagement, for use in ATO workshops and programs aimed at making it easier for Small Businesses to meet their taxation and superannuation obligations.
Representatives shall be contracted on a short-term, as needed basis to partipate in various consultation activities, including;
- participating in workshops
- providing feedback on processes and documentation
- providing opinions form the perspective of a small business operator'
- conducting end-user testing on products and prototypes or
- writing articles, for exsample for industry newsletters.
Representatives will be remunerated for all activities undertaken
Current or former Small Business operators with at least 2 years experience operating a small business are invited to apply.
Additional Conditions for Participation are including in the Request for Inclusion Applicant Pack. These Conditions for Participation correspond to particular Commonwealth Procurement Policies that preclude agencies such as the ATO from entering into certain procurement contracts with certain organisations.
Any application that does not comply with all the Conditions for Participation will be excluded from consideration.
Services will be on an 'as required' basis.
Inclusion in the MUL will not constititue a guareantee of work, nor can membership of the list be used to imply that a business is a supplier to government or has any preferred position.
