BRIGHT Beamline Sheilding Hutches

The Australian Synchrotron is undertaking a program of beamline builds collectively known as the ‘Bright Beamlines’. This program will see an expansion of capability and capacity to the facility which reflects the facilities importance in supporting scientific endeavour in the region.
The beamline shielding hutches described in this specification are for the first two beamlines which will be built under the Bright program. Both are bend magnet beamlines each with its own requirements.
The BRIGHT program consists of eight new beamlines which will be designed, built and commissioned over the period 2017 to 2024. This procurement is only for the first two beamlines. The procurement of the remaining beamlines will occur in stages, as they are designed.
