Support Unit for the Australian Humanitarian Partnership
The Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) is delivered by Australian NGOs (ANGOs) who are members of the ACFID Humanitarian Reference Group (HRG). The AHP will replace the current DFAT-NGO Humanitarian Partnership Agreement (HPA) which expires in 2017. The AHP’s goal is to save lives, alleviate suffering and enhance human dignity during and in the aftermath of conflict, disasters and other humanitarian crises, as well as to strengthen capacity to prepare for and recover from the occurrence of such situations.
As per RFT documentation
DFAT proposes that any Contract arising from this RFT will have an initial term of 5 years, with option periods for up to an additional 5 years in total, exercisable at the discretion of DFAT.
