The Australian Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) invites suitably qualified organisations to tender for the provision of spatial software, products and services.

The purpose of this procurement is to establish a panel for the provision of spatial software, products and services.

FaHCSIA's future Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) will enable an end-to-end spatial capability, providing spatial and address services for business systems, providing web mapping functionality to all users and consistent data management for data analysts. This capability will support such diverse needs as policy development, program evaluation and preparing community cabinet briefings. It is envisaged that the FaHCSIA SDI will be implemented in a staged approach over approximately two years commencing with an improved capability to manage spatial data and provision of some discrete commercial datasets. The next stage is an improved capability to deliver spatial data to the full range of FaHCSIA users.
