Development and Delivery of ADF Crash Protection Training Course and Provision of Crash Protection Consulting Services
The Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) within Air Force Headquarters is seeking a professional service provider to design, develop and deliver a suitable training program to educate Defence personnel in the theory and application of Crash Protection (CP) principles within the Defence airworthiness framework and provide expert advice on CP issues on an as required basis.
The successful service provider shall be engaged under a Deed of Standing Offer (Deed) to deliver the services to Defence
The course aim is to graduate selected personnel capable of applying ADF aviation CCPDRs, identifying and evaluating shortfalls and treatments, and characterising and communicating residual risk.
The course is aimed at ADF aviation engineers involved in the acquisition or modification of ADF aircraft, ADF aviation engineers required to understand and/or apply CCPDRs, and ADF staff involved in identifying and managing CP shortfalls. It is to be assumed that course participants will have an introductory understanding of the DASRs, and a basic awareness of the ADF CP framework.
The knowledge gained from this course will enable ADF engineers to return to their workplaces and conduct activities related to CP that lead to the accurate characterisation and communication of CP risks.

The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the tender does not comply with a requirement identified as essential in the draft Scope of Services.
