Industry briefing session for Defence Estate Investment Streams - Information Session - Rockhampton
The Department of Defence undertakes a range of Estate related Operations, Sustainment and Development activities to support broader Defence capability outcomes and environmental obligations.
This information Session is aimed at providing local industry with advice on the various programs, how they are structured, and how industry can engage with Defence and Defence Contractors in the delivery of these programs.
The session will cover Estate Upkeep, Estate Maintenance and Operations, Estate Works (Minor and Medium Projects, known as the EWP) and the Capital Facilities and Infrastructure delivered Major Projects.
The briefing will provide industry with an overview of the following:
- How the programs are developed on a yearly or multi-year basis;
- Key stakeholders;
- The procurement process;
- Commonwealth policy and tendering requirements including the Indigenous Procurement Policy;
- Defence policies and contracting suite; and
- How industry can keep informed of opportunities.
There is no need to pre-register for the briefing however attendees will be required to register their attendance upon arrival.
