Panel for Expert Advisory Services
The National Health Performance Authority (NHPA) is making an approach to the market seeking tenders to establish a panel of potential providers for Expert Advisory Services to support production of public performance reports on Australian Hospitals and Primary Healthcare organisations.
Tenderers are invited to submit a response to provide one, some, or all of the following categories of Services (Service Category):
1. Datasets and analysis
The Service Provider will be expected to provide expertise and advice on the analysis, manipulation and interpretation of national health data sets for the purposes of producing local level performance reports against the Performance and Accountability Framework.
2. Clinical expertise (including medical, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, acute and primary healthcare professionals, or coding and classification experts)
The Service Provider will be expected to provide insights to the interpretation of data, to ensure that data has clinical face validity. Advice is also sought on the interpretation of the data to identify the key messages for clinicians and identify data limitations.
3. Productivity, Efficiency and/or Financial performance expertise
The Service Provider will be expected to provide expertise and advice on the application, development, and interpretation of productivity, efficiency and financial performance measures for healthcare organisations.
4. Performance measurement expertise
The Service Provider will be expected to provide expertise and advice on the development of performance measures for reporting against the Performance and Accountability Framework.
