Design Services Consultant for A9015 Armoured Fighting Vehicle Facilities Program

This approach is for design services associated with Army's replacement of its current armoured fleet of vehicles, known hereafter as the Armoured Fighting Vehicle Program (AFV Program). The AFV Program consists of LAND 400 Phase 2,3 and 4, LAND 907 Phase 2 and LAND 8160 Phase 1 capability projects. The AFV program and its component phases are being managed under the Defence Capability Life Cycle as the overarching approach to capability development and capability delivery.
The facilities and infrastructure for the AFV Program will be planned as a program (the AFV Faciltiies Program). Works packages within the program will be grouped into three stages based on phased capability approval windows. The introduction of the new capability will require new facilities and infrastructure to support the much larger and heavier platforms in use across the three Combat Brigades. The scope of works covers multiple bases across four states. The works include the following:
• Barracks upgrades
• Vehicle workshops upgrades
• Training area upgrades
• Base infrastructure upgrades
• Specialist weapon ranges
