Cardiologist for Electrocardiography (ECG) tracing analysis

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Aviation Medicine (AvMed) Branch process, assess and issue applications for medical certification of pilots and air traffic controllers (ATC) (Applicants). AvMed issues medical certificates to licence Applicants who meet the relevant medical standard associated with their licence. An electrocardiography (ECG) exam periodically forms part of the medical certificate requirement
CASA requires a cardiologist, or group of cardiologists, to analyse and report on twelve-lead electrocardiography (ECG) tracing for Applicants and provide telephone support to CASA staff and doctors to answer questions concerning ECGs and associated reports.
The Customer will exclude from consideration any Response that does not meet the following Mandatory Conditions of Participation:
a. Registration as a medical practitioner;
b. Recognised specialist cardiologist accreditation [See A.A 3(g) [Professional Body Registration Requirements]];
c. Appropriate medical indemnity insurance [See A.A.3(i) [Insurance Requirements]]; and
d. Evidence of currency in ECG interpretation [For example current clinical practice, or existing role providing ECG Analysis and reports].
Initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 terms of 12 months or parts thereof
