Provision of Computed Tomography (CT) X-ray Technology
The CT X-rays are being procured to trial their use in an international inbound mail gateway facility and air cargo depot, for border screening purposes. One (1) CT X-ray will be installed in Melbourne, VIC. The second CT X-ray will be installed in Sydney, NSW.
The CT scanner solution must meet both of the following Explosive Detection System (EDS) Qualifications:
• European Civil Aviation Conference (EC) Qualification or Approved to EDS C3, and
• Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Qualification or Approved minimum TSA standard EDS STD 7, or are eligible for qualification testing by the TSA.
The CT scanner solution must meet ARPANSA standards and regulations for radiation equipment health and safety requirements and licencing, including relevant Radiation Protection Series: Fundamentals, Codes and Standards, and Guides and Recommendations.
Expected contract date to be March 2019 with delivery of goods and services to occur no later than September 2019
