Contract for Espresso Bar Services in the ACT

Defence is seeking a Contractor to provide Espresso Bar Services at eight Defence Sites: Russell Offices precinct (5 sites); Campbell Park Offices; ANZAC Park West; and HMAS HARMAN.
The Contractor is to provide Espresso Bar Services with a variety of hot and cold beverages; sweet and savoury products; and light meal options as a quick pick-up and go type service.
The Services are provided on a 5 day per week basis, during the hours of 07:30 - 16:00 hours Monday to Friday, with the exception of the Christmas/New Year stand-down period, and public holidays.
The provision of these Services is to provide both convenience and increase productivity by allowing Defence personnel to purchase their food and beverages within their work area.
Some of the Espresso Bar sites are situated in foyers or thoroughfares and it is therefore critical that the Contractor provides these services quickly and efficiently.
An Industry Briefing will be conducted on Tuesday 30 May 2017 at Campbell Park Offices, Conference Room CP1-5-155, commencing at 9:30am and concluding at approximately 11:00am, followed by a site tour of the Campbell Park and selected Russell Offices Espresso Bar sites. The Industry Briefing will be limited to three (3) personnel from each Company. Nominations to attend the briefing are to be forwarded in writing (email) to the Contact Officer by 12:00 pm (noon) on Thursday 25 May 2017.
The initial period of the Contract is for 5 years with 2 x 12 month extension options available to the Commonwealth.
Defence Security Requirements in accordance with Clause 2.5 of Part 1 - Conditions of Tender
Essential Requirements
The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the tender does not comply with a requirement identified as 'Essential' in the draft Statement of Work.

August - September 2017
