Procurement of P-8A Poseidon Search and Rescue (SAR) Kit
Design, development, test and integration of a SAR kit onto the P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
Due to the sensitive nature of the Procurement and the strict requirements surrounding the release of US Controlled and/or International Trade in Arms Regulation (ITAR) Information to Australian and Foreign companies, it is intended that the RFT Pack will be released in two Packs.
Release of Pack Two will include US Controlled and/or ITAR information and will only be made available to Australian or United States incorporated companies after they have signed and returned a validly executed Deed Poll of Confidentiality in the format provided by the Commonwealth.
Tenderers are to note that the required Deed Poll of Confidentiality will be available to all potential Tenderers within 10 days of the AusTender release of RFT Pack One. To obtain an executable copy of the required Deed Poll of Confidentiality, tenderers are to contact the Contact Officer specified in clause 2.5 of the conditions of tender.
Release Pack Two (ITAR): Will include US Controlled and/or ITAR information and will only be made available to Australian or United States incorporated companies after they have signed and returned a validly executed Deed Poll of Confidentiality in the format provided by the Commonwealth, along with evidence of their country of incorporation. It should be noted that non-Australian or non-US incorporated companies will only be eligible to receive RFT Release Pack Two if they can provide the Commonwealth with evidence of a current, relevant, pre-exisitng Third Party Retransfer Approval or Technical Assistance Agreement provided by the US Department of State.
