The purpose is to undertake a Mid Term Lifecycle Extension project with strategic refurbishment of the existing HVAC equipment located in Mitchell ACT, including;
- Life extension works for building air handlers and fan coil units.
- Ventilation upgrade for the roof, air handling plant room.
- Inspection / servicing / repairs for dehumidifiers DH-12 & 13 and minor works for the associated outside air pre-conditioning systems.
- Removal of halon gas purge ductwork serving Cold Stores 1-4 and Document Rooms 1 & 2.
- Relocation of the desiccant dehumidifier (DH-1) for Cold Store 1.
- Automatic controls upgrade and new HVAC automation system.
- Miscellaneous upgrade works.
