Field Force Automation Mobility Solution

Provision of a Field Force Automation Mobility Solution to automate Airservices Australia’s Technical Services branch’s maintenance practices and improve the efficiency of the branch’s operating practices
Airservices Australia is seeking an experienced vendor to design, build and integrate the solution into Airservices Australia's business operations over four phases. Tenderers are invited to propose how best they can meet the Requirement within the timescales specified.
Airservices Australia is expecting to acheive the following outcomes as a result of this RFT process:
1. One vendor to deliver the Requirement;
2. A high level conceptual solution design for the proposed solution;
3. A soltuion, using a predominantly Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) product, to deliver a collaborative mobile automated maintenance tool set;
4. A viable project management methodology that incorporates Airservices Australia's system engineering requirements and meets the specified timerame for each phase of the project;
5. A lump sum fixed price for each phase of the project;
6. Options to consider alternative solutions to deliver the Requirement;
7. Ensuring that fair and ethical sourcing practices are applied and that Tenderers with socially responsible practices who comply with legislative obligations are considered accordingly.
(A) Tenderers must direct any questions regarding the Request for Tender (RFT) to the following email address: RFT_7326@airservicesaustralia.com. The period for submitting Clarification Requests closes on Friday 1st May 2015.
(B) Confidential Information
Please note that the information contained within the following documents is confidential to Airservices Australia and therefore will only be provided to a Tenderer once Airservices Australia has received an executed Confidentiality Undertaking from the Tenderer in the form provided at Part 1 - Conditions of Tender, Annexure B:
“Attachment D to Part 3 – Statement of Requirement – Principle Supplied Documents including:
1. Airservices Australia’s AEI’s
2. Airservices Australia’s ICT Security Policy
3. System Engineering Management Plan, Data Information Description
Tenderers should ensure that the Confidentiality Undertaking is completed and emailed to the Airservices Australia Contact Officer by no later than 15:00pm AEST on Friday 1st May 2015.
(C) Briefing Session
Tenderers are invited to attend a Briefing Session in connection with this RFT at 12:30pm on Monday 13th April 2015 at Airservices Melbourne Air Traffic Servicecs Centre.
Tenderers must notify the Airservices Australia Contact Officer by 15:00pm AEST on Thursday 9th April 2015 of the names of the representatives who will be attending the Briefing Session on behalf of the Tenderer.
The following are conditions for participation for this RFT:
(a) That the Tenderer is not currently named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth). If a Tenderer’s Response fails to meet the above conditions for participation for this RFT Airservices Australia will exclude the Response from further consideration.
It is anticipated that the Services will commence on 1 September 2015, or any date as agreed by Airservices Australia.
