Remote Air Services Subsidy (RASS) Scheme Air Operators
The Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications is seeking to engage aircraft operator(s) to provide air services to remote areas of: Pilbara (Region 1), Kimberley (Region 2 & 2F) and Tri-State Alice Springs, Warburton, Kalgoorlie (Region 9), Western Australia, under the RASS Scheme for a period of two (2) years to commence in September 2022, with an option to extend up to 12-months.
The successful Tenderer(s) will:
- be required to hold an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) authorising the Services;
- demonstrate compliance with all CASA requirements as appropriate; and
- demonstrate against the technical criteria that it can provide and sustain the Services tendered for.
A non-mandatory Industry Briefing will be held on 14 April, via teleconference. Interested tenderers should advise of their intent to attend by noon 13 April. Registration details will be emailed.
