Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Maritime Underwater Tracking Ranges
Project SEA1350 Phase 3 is seeking to acquire and install a sovereign instrumented underwater tracking range capability, as well as the associated support mechanisms required to sustain the capability until 2045. Specifically, the Commonwealth is seeking a solution which includes the following three types of ranges:
1. a Deepwater Tracking Range
2. a Shallow Water Tracking Range, and
3. a Deployable Tracking Range.
When combined these ranges will comprise the Maritime Underwater Tracking Range.
For the purposes of the RFP, respondents may respond with a proposal in relation to:
a) a single type of range;
b) two types of ranges in any combination; or
c) all three types of ranges.
If respondents wish to respond to more than one type of range, they must make clear which part(s) of their proposal relate to which type of range and which part(s) can be read as information common across the proposal.
Respondents wishing to access the For Official Use Only (FOUO) documents are required to complete and sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), included with the RFP package, and return it to sea1350.ph3@defence.gov.au. Respondents that provide a completed NDA will be provided with further instructions on accessing the FOUO documents.
Respondents need to comply with the security requirements stipulated within clauses 2.6 and 2.7 of the Conditions of Proposal, otherwise they may be excluded from further consideration.
