Australian Defence Force (ADF) Equipment Cleaning Contract
This RFT is for the Provision of Equipment Cleaning Services to the ADF. The contract will include a requirement to clean ADF equipment at both foreign and domestic locations to meet the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) standards upon its return to Australia. The Services required are Initial Cleaning, Main Cleaning, Road Freight and Miscellaneous Services, all of which are detailed in the RFT documentation.
The Commonwealth seeks to engage a flexible and responsive commercial provider that can provide the Services subject to short-notice changes in volume and service delivery locations, including an ability to surge or provide the Services at new locations in Australia and Overseas, depending on the requirements of the ADF. To the greatest extent possible, the Commonwealth wishes to contract for the outcomes it values (best-for-Defence outcomes).
Tenderers are invited to participate in the RFT industry brief at Victoria Barracks Melbourne scheduled for 30 May 19. This activity will be conducted in accordance with the industry brief details contained within the Condition of Tender Details Schedule, and tenderers must nominate no more than four attendees no later than 12:00pm AEST on 29 May 19 in accordance with Attachment B to the Conditions of Tender.
Tenderers must be compliant with the Defence Security Requirements (clause 2.5 of the Conditions of Tender) and the Essential requirements as stated in the Statement of work.
Expected commencement date is 25 Oct 2019 for an initial 3 year term followed up by 2 one year extension options.
