The Pawsey project will be progressing the procurement of the Petascale Systems. Refer to http://www.ivec.org/super-computing/pawsey-hpc-centre for more details.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide a formal mechanism for the exchange of information for those involved in the Petascale systems
The components of interest are as follows:
Tape Storage;
Hierarchical Storage Management;
Petascale and Real-time Supercomputing;
Data Analysis Engines;
Networking and Infrastructure;
and in addition:
Facilities and Infrastructure requirements.
