Procurement of Helicopter Services

Geoscience Australia is undertaking extensive geophysical and geological surveys across northern Australia under the Exploring for The Future Program. This is to assist in gaining a better understanding of Australia’s geology, groundwater and mineral resources. Survey projects including the Australian Lithospheric Architecture Magnetotelluric Project (AusLAMP) and Australian Passive Seismic Array Project (AusARRAY), require helicopter support to conduct field activities.
Accordingly, Geoscience Australia invites suitable Helicopter Charter companies / suppliers to submit a tender for helicopter services.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers and complies with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (Cth) and obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The aircraft operator must have any and all CASA approvals for aircraft operations and maintenance necessary for this proposed body of work.
